Hi all,
Some more updates, however, I did not see any fee on the Bicycle film festival. In the past there has been no fee, but it is listed on film freeway and it does not indicate whether it has a fee. Perhaps it would tell me if I were to submit, but I have not. If anyone can confirm for this year, I will update post. thanks.

Student Academy awards 06/01/15 * will launch end of january
The purpose of the Student Academy Awards competition is to support and encourage filmmakers with no previous professional experience who are enrolled in degree-granting programs and accredited colleges and universities as full-time students.  While professional advice may be requested and given during the making of student films, the Academy does not allow for any hands-on involvement by professionals in key positions, including but not limited to, directors, producers, camera persons, editors, writers or production sound mixers.  Professional actors, however, are exempt from these restrictions.  The Academy reserves the right to disqualify from competition any entry in which such professionals have had undue influence.

TromaDance -independent films (New Jersey) 03/15/15
The first film festival wholeheartedly devoted to filmmakers and fans. Unlike every other film festival, TromaDance does not charge filmmakers to submit their films. Entrance to all screenings is free and open to the public. Also, there are no VIP reservations or preferential treatment regarding films, panels, or parties of any kind given. Fest Anca International animation Festival (Slovakia) 03/15/15
The International animation festival Fest Anča was first mentioned back in 2008 and since the start it has been located in what used to be an ancient settlement and currently is an industrial regional city called Žilina, lying on the North-West of Slovakia. Since the very beginning, the event is connected with the cultural centre Stanica Žilina-Záriečie and is being carried out during the extended weekend after the summer solstice. The festival, tagged as hot and cool at the same time doesn’t spread out red carpets, however the festival’s archives are full of interesting international guests. DVD by mail.

Neum International Animated Film Festival (Neum, Bosnia and Herzegovina) 4/15/15
NAFF is an independent festival that tries to propagande of animated film among the youth in Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as other countries. Minute Festival (Brazil) 2/28/15 online submission
Free Theme or Animation. One Minute Festival was created in 1991 and has inspired the breeding of over 50 “one minute festivals” all around the world. Since 2007, the Festival has become permanent and online. The Festival lanches themes and monthly rewards the best works. All the vídeos are evaluated by a team of curators. The trusteeship’s grade is expressed through the number of little clocks and the public`s grade is shown by the number of stars. MakeDox (Macedonia) 02/01/15 MakeDox is an International Creative Documentary Film Festival organized by the citizen’s association MakeDox.
