A cultural event of great relevance for Guadalajara and Mexico. It is considered as one of the most important showcases for the appreciation, promotion and distribution of Mexican and Ibero-American films. Online submission.

Edinburgh Mountain Film Festival 10/30/15
An independent film festival which aims to inspire, enlighten and entertain outdoor enthusiasts, whether they are climbers, skiers or snowboarders, kayakers, BASE jumpers or explorers.The EMFF is now seeking film submissions for the next festival. Prizes are awarded. Films can focus on any aspect of mountain life and culture, wilderness and adventure, and can be documentary or fiction. We are especially interested in films focusing on all forms of climbing, snowboarding, skiing, snowblading, mountain biking, BASE jumping, kayaking, surfing, BMX-ing, sea kayaking, canoeing … the list goes on. Women, Action and the Media, Boston Film Festival 10/30/15

One World International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival (Prague) 11/15/15
Organized by People in Need. People in Need is a Czech non-profit, non-governmental organization. One World’s programme consists of two competition categories, a variety of non-competition categories and thematic categories, as well as Docs for Kids section. Films are chosen by One World’s selection committee. When selecting films, the committee concentrates equally on both human rights content and artistic quality.Films need to meet these criteria: documentary films or short animated films, feature, mid-length or short films, films provided with English subtitles or English spoken films, upon prior agreement with the festival, unfinished films can be submitted. Cinema Du Reel (Paris) 11/16/2015
International Festival of Documentary Films. Cinéma du Réel gives priority to cinematographic writing and approaches, in a broad understanding of documentary that can sometimes challenge the traditional borders of the genre, whatever the subject, length, format or form. Nonetheless we strongly insist that the Festival is not seeking news reports, current affairs programs, promotional or corporate films. Films completed after September 1st 2015: Online submission duly completed and viewing material to be sent and postmarked November 16th 2015 at the latest. Films still under completion on November 16th 2015: Online submission duly completed on November 16th 2015 and viewing material to be sent and postmarked December 18th 2015 at the latest. Mobile Festval 11/20/15
Act on Climate Change. International festival for films made with mobile phone. The competition is open during the whole year and everyone that will send film made with mobile phone can participate on festival. The duration of the film should be 10 minutes. Films that we will receive after this date will enter for the competition of Mobile Festival 2016. Submit online.

Cortex International Film Festival 11/20/15
National and international short films must comply with the following conditions in order to be selected: Genres: fiction, animation, documentary, and/or experimental; Do not exceed 30 minutes in running time, including credits; Films produced in 2013 and 2014; Films are presented in video format. DOCUDAYS UA International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival 11/30/15
Docudays UA International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival is held annually in the last week of March in Kyiv. On completion, Docudays UA traditionally presents the best movies in the regions of Ukraine within the Docudays UA Travelling Festival. Online screener or DVD.
