Transilvania International Film Festival (Romania) 2/1/19
(TIFF) is organized by Romanian Film Promotion and it is the first international feature film festival in Romania. The main objective of Transilvania IFF is to promote the cinematic art by presenting some of the most significant films of the moment, films which exhibit not only originality and independence of expression, but also unusual forms of cinematic language and modern trends of the young culture.

Animayo: 2/1/19
The call for entries is already open for the International Film Contests Animayo 2019, Qualifying festival for the OSCAR® in the animated short film category.  Animayo winners will be eligible for consideration in the “Animated Short Film” of the Academy Awards® without the standard theatrical run, provided the film otherwise complies with the Academy rules. Exclusive for applying to works of 2D animation, 3D animation, visual effects, experimental, advertising, animated spots, music videos and video games cinematics.

VIDEOEX Intl. Experimental Film & Video Festival, Zurich 2/4/19
We are looking for experimental, innovative and progressive works that explore the possibilities of film as a medium, expanding the idea of film and cinema. We admit: Experimental Film, Non-Fiction, Moving Image, Documentary, Essay Film, Animated Film, Music Videos. Works on 8mm, 16mm or 35mm celluloid will be screened in original format.

Alpinale Short Film Festival (Austria) 02/15/19 The ALPINALE represents a venue for both professional and amateur filmmakers from home and abroad, who are given the opportunity to conduct multi-cultural and open dialogue with creative people, and to present their work to an interested audience. We close the call-for-entries after 800 short films have been submitted.

Clear the Air Film Fest 02/18/2018
The Clear the Air Film Fest showcases student-produced short films that address topics on air quality and tobacco use prevention in the community. The films will be reviewed by our panel of judges and the highest scoring films will receive a cash prize. The winning films will be announced at the screening at New People Cinema in San Francisco on Saturday, March 16, 2019. Professional and amateur filmmakers who are not students may submit films to the General Public competition. The first place winner of the General Public competition will receive $500 and a screening and the second place winner may also have their film screened. Winners MUST be present at the screening and should be prepared to speak to the student filmmakers about their creative process.

Supertoon International Animation Festival 3/1/19
SUPERTOON is an International Animation Festival taking place in Šibenik, Croatia. The purpose of the Festival is to systematically monitor and provide an insight into recent Croatian and world short-meter animation film and video production through a range of competition and side programmes. Additional aim is to create a platform for a direct communication and exchange of ideas and experiences for all festival participants and guests.

Prix Ars Electronica 03/01/19
The Prix Ars Electronica has constantly grown and developed over the years, and made quite a name for itself in the process. It’s the world’s oldest and most renowned competition in media art.

Super International Teenager Festival3/01/19
Super began in 2013 due to the desire of teenagers to have a space of their own where to project their films and meet other people that they like and their films. What is specific to Super compared to other festivals, is the only high school students can design their films here, so it’s natural talent, passion, and not sophisticated film schools or any artificial technique. We do not have big budgets or equipment of the highest quality, but our shorts, adolescents are immediate reactions to our world, are experimenting life, where other young people can be found. Festival encourages young people who have already made film, but also those who want to start now, through many workshops and courses.
