Taiwan International Documentary Festival 5/30/14
TIDF is a competitive international documentary festival in Taiwan, and focuses on Chinese and Asian docs. We are looking for documentaries that are creative, relevant to social and human interests, and have unique points of view. The competition consists of 3 categories, including International Competition, Asian Vision Competition and Taiwanese Comeptition, with total cash-prize of NT$2.5 million (approx. US$84,000 .) We also raised the Grand Prize of Asian Vision Competition, in order to encourage filmmakers with unique Asian perspectives. Meanwhile, there’s also Chinese Documentary Award, Author’s POV Award, and Next Generation Award to seek for and listen to different voices.
