Josiah Media Festival 6/1/14
The Josiah Media Festival is URBAN-15’s annual nationwide film and media event that is open only to filmmakers age 21 and younger. It is named after Josiah Miles Neundorf, a talented media artist from San Antonio, Texas who passed away in 2006 as a result of osteosarcoma. In honor of this artist, his parents, Marcus and Nancy Neundorf, and the URBAN-15 Group created the Josiah Media Festival, an annual film festival designed to showcase outstanding works by young film, video, and media artists. Winning filmmakers in each category will receive B&H Photo and Video gift cards: $250 for 1st-place, $100 for 2nd-place, $50 for 3rd-place, An additional $250 B&H gift card will be awarded to the “Best-of-Show” winner! All local filmmakers MUST be in attendance at the Josiah Media Festival Awards Ceremony July 12, 2014Film Categories: Narrative, Documentary, Animation, and Experimental. 20 minutes maximum.
