A queer film screening located in Montréal. We feature a collection of short films screened in a casual bar setting. Our films are primarily, but not exclusively, from local contributors. fliQs is a queer event: all identities are encouraged to submit films.
CMIAR 9/7/18* For Central Ohio artists
Columbus Moving Image Art Review (CMIAR) 36 is now open. This show is on Friday, September 28th, 2018 at 8pm on OSU Campus in Hagerty Hall 180. Make sure to visit the submission page to download the form and send your high quality downloadable video link (no youtube links) or DVD at any time up to the deadline. Send in your new or old animations – videos – films, or propose an a/v performance. If it uses light and it moves it is fair game; video, film, animation, documentary, narrative, experimental, student, and professional. We aim to celebrate what central Ohio has to offer – with no time or subject constraints. Thessaloniki Animation Festival 9/7/18
Since 2015 TAF has brought the best of the art of animation to the city’s audience. With over 1.400 short animation films submitted each year, only the best are selected to be screened at the Festival to compete and be awarded by the jury. FilmFreeway.
International Animation Festival Aiayu 9/16/18
The Animation Group AJAYU calls film-making and animation video producers to participate in the official contest from the Festival. The animated production must have been made since 2015 up to now. The categories to be evaluated will be: Short films of International animation, Short films of Peruvian animation, Short films of Latin American animation, Short films animated of Thesis or Graduation, Animated short films made by children (Ajayito), Animated feature films, Animated Series.

Animasivo is a platform devoted to experimental and independent animation, in Latin America. The contest continues to focus on presenting the ability of the animated image to subvert,reinvent and explore aesthetics, imaginaries and narrative styles.

Welcome to &PROUD 2018. We’re back for the 4th edition and we’re bigger than ever! From January 27 to February 4 we’ll have 2 weekends jam packed with films, performances, lip sync battles, Q&As with film makers, drag olympics, parties, panel discussions, DJs and many… many beautiful people. Filmmakers are requested to submit films through the FilmFreeway website and submissions need to be sent before September 30, 2018.
