Open Call for 2017 edition of International Video Art Festival Transmission 20 – 23 July 2017. TRANSMISSION ART FESTIVAL 2017 invites everyone to submit videos to the 2nd edition of the Festival, which takes place simultaneously in Karlsruhe (DE), Warsaw (PL) and Kassel (DE) in July 2017. Both established artists and new talents are encouraged to submit works on the theme “We Are All in this Together – A Road Map Through a Post-Truth Art World”. Does art have anything to contribute to the post-truth, post-democracy world? Is it the time for us to start producing noise, politicizing aesthetic practices or just turn full-time towards political activism? In the era of post-truth politics, alternative facts and fake news campaigns undermining our democracies, we would like to invite experimental film makers and video artists to take a stand in the overwhelming ethical ambiguity of our time.
International Shortfilms Contest 9/30/17
Submit all genres. (Love, Horror, Comedy, Drama, Thriller, Crime, Action) short films (maximum 20minutes) for this contest. Submissions: Each participant can submit Only One Shortfilm. 1st 5 Winners will be Featured On SWOT MEDIA and they will be officially announced as PRO FILM MAKER worldwide, and they can participate all our upcoming premium contests without any entry fee and get published on our Youtube Channel. 6th to 15th Winners will receive SWOT MEDIA PRO FILM MAKER CERTIFICATION (online)
GLAS Animation Festival 12/31/17
An international competition animation festival dedicated to animated films and will be held in Berkeley, California, USA March 22 to 25, 2018. GLAS Animation Festival welcomes all animation techniques. Films must be completed after January 1st 2016. Short films submitted must not exceed 40 minutes. Feature length films must be over 40 minutes. Short films that are online are eligible for selection. Each applicant must be the rightful owner of submitted films and own all literary and musical rights. Installation proposals may also be submitted to be on display at the Berkeley Art Center.
