Animatricks Festival is launching its Call for Entries, inviting filmmakers to submit their animated short films. International competition is arranged now for the second time alongside with the traditional competition for the best Finnish animated shorts. International productions chosen to participate will be screened in the International Shorts Competition Category. The best international animation will be awarded with 3000 euros and the best Finnish with 1000 euros. La brigade des images festival 02/15/15
NEITHER SEEN NOR KNOWN – A call for submission, short films, 2015. We are looking for short films on lower-class or upper-class culture: rituals, cultural, social, love habits. We came up with this new selection thinking about two books: “Neither seen nor known” by Beatrix Wita, an ethnographic approach of bourgeois culture in France, and “The Uses of Literacy, Aspects of Working Class Life” by Richard Hoggart, a study of style life of the lower-classes in England. The films selected will be shown in France and abroad. An exhibition is planned in September in an art centre. Only DVD-R, with a maximum length of 10 minutes, by mail.
