Wirral International Film Festival 10/31/13
Since it’s conception the Wirral International Film Festival has grown from strength to strength with more submissions every year. Interest has been that keen that the organisers have decided to open up the Festival worldwide to all film makers. DVD Pal with submission info.

Traverse City Film Festival (ongoing, but festival starts July 30th)
The Traverse City Film Festival is by invitation only, but we’d love to see your films and suggestions. Filmmakers may submit their films unofficially and they will be passed on to the programmer. There is no submission form or fee, and also no feedback mechanism — we cannot guarantee that your film will be viewed. Email link or send DVD.

One of the questions I have gotten is whether I have festivals for the rest of the year. I have a master list, but I wait until festivals update their site for the current year’s festival. This can be anywhere between 6 months ahead to a month ahead, depending on the festival. Still, there seem to be festivals I may not find, so suggestions are always welcome. Viral Video Award (Berlin) 08/31/13
Video must have been conceived for the internet, not more than two years old and not more than 10 minutes long. Submit URL. As well, you can pass along any that you think should be considered. A jury will select the best virals from all entries submitted, to participate in the online audience election. Films will then be seen and voted-for at our website. Parallel to and independent of that selection process, virals will also be under the scrutiny of an expert jury consisting of industry professionals. All films which make it to the online-voting stage will also be presented on the big screen during the interfilm Short Film Festival.

Queen City Film Festival 9/3/13
The second (annual) Queen City Film Festival will be held September 26-29, 2013. Entry form (coming soon) will contain additional details. You must submit by mail on NTSC DVD or Blu-ray disc. No other formats will be accepted. Submissions will not be returned.
