Michigan Womyn’s Music Festival Film Program 4/1/14
An annual six-day camping, music and cultural festival held on 650 acres of remote northern woodlands, near Hart, Michigan. One of the many cultural components is a film program that runs for 4 days and 3 nights during the festival week. The film program showcases feature length and short films directed by women/for women/about women. Our night program is shown on a large outdoor screen under the stars while our daytime program is hosted in a large tent. We program for our adult and teen audience. Films must be directed by women. Preference is given to material completed in the past year, though older material will still be considered. Feature length and short films; documentary, narrative, experimental and animation are considered. DVD submission or link to download, Vimeo or Youtube. FilmFreeway.

International Short Film Festival of Bueu (Spain) 5/3/14
Festival is open to all short films shot since 1/1/2011, from anywhere in the world. All kind of short films can participate in the festival, irrespective of genres (except documentaries). Works will not be more than 30 minutes long. Those short films whose language is different of Spanish or Galicien must be subtitled in one of them or in English.Participants can present the number of works that they want. AnimaSyros Competition 8/20/14
A call for entries for the International shorts contest – Morosini Fountain. Under the 7th edition of the International Animation Film Festival AnimaSyros, filmmakers from all over the globe are invited to create their own “silent” animated film, participating in the new competitive section of the festival. Artists who wish to participate in the contest about the Morosini Fountain in Heraklion must create an animated short film under the following content and technical requirements: The animated film can be completed by the use of any animation technique or even by the implementation of various animation techniques in it; Running time of the participant film shall not be less than 3 minutes, nor exceed 5 minutes (all participating shorts must be 3-5 minutes long); The film must NOT have any dialogue; The film should briefly chronicle historical facts of the Morosini Fountain (relevant information is available on the official sites of the organizers).

No films will be shortlisted. All films for the festival will be selected randomly. The number of films selected to the international competition is: 25. Submit by filling out the online form. You don’t have to send a DVD-screener of your film, we are not going to watch them anyway.
