A few new updates….
If you follow me on facebook, I now have a page that it posts to, specifically for noentryfeefestivals, it also still sends posts to noentryfeefests on twitter, so you will see them there, along with re-tweets of festival opportunities that have no entry fee. MONSTRA is an event where animated film meets other media and arts, aiming to present, disseminate,experiment and discuss ideas, crossing over new artistic approaches and forms, on which animated film is the narrative and aesthetic expression. The Festival’s main goal is to present and promote the best animated films made all over the World. Submissions for the International Short Films for Children and Youth category.

Tokyo Anime Award Festival 2020 (TAAF2020) is an international animation film festival organized by the Association of Japanese Animations and TAAF Executive Committee, and co-hosted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. The Festival is run by TAAF Office, established under the TAAF2020 Executive Committee, with the support of various companies, organizations and individuals who endorse TAAF2020’s objectives The aim of TAAF2020 is to collate and screen high-quality animation works of superior originality, provide excitement and inspiration to the audience as well as creators, cultivate new talent, and contribute to the development and promotion of animation culture and industry.

Landshut Short Film Festival 11/1/19
G-A-S Competition is open only for short films from Germany, Austria and Switzerland in German language; The International Competition is open for short films from anywhere in the world; Deadline_Award is open to genre short films from anywhere in the world. It is a special award for an outstanding international Horror, Mystery, Fantasy, Science Fiction or Thriller Short Film; Animation Competition is open to animated short films from anywhere in the world. It is a special award for an outstanding international animation short film; Short Documentary Competition is open for short documentary films from anywhere in the world; VR Competition is open for short Virtual Reality films from anywhere in the world; Shorts for Kids Competition is open for short films for children made in Germany, Austria or Switzerland; Innovation Award will be presented for all programs of the festival. It is a jury prize and elected by all jury members of the festival; DaHome Award is a special Jury award and is awarded to an international short film that deals with the subject of Heimat / homeland in a special and extraordinary way. (Film Festival Life platform charges a service fee, not the festival itself). Cinema Du Reel (Paris) 11/1/2019 Films completed after August 1st 2019
International Festival of Documentary Films. Cinéma du Réel gives priority to cinematographic writing and approaches, in a broad understanding of documentary that can sometimes challenge the traditional borders of the genre, whatever the subject, length, format or form. Nonetheless we strongly insist that the Festival is not seeking news reports, current affairs programs, promotional or corporate films.: Online submission duly completed and viewing material to be sent November 1st 2019 at the latest.

BUFF Filmfestival 11/15/19

This is what the film groups are searching for in the films submitted to BUFF, to be able to create a large and varied program with a broad representation of people, life stories and relationships.

International Short Film Festival Landau – La.Meko. Since 2001 filmmakers from around the world are invited to send their works to the Short Film Festival La.Meko wich takes place yearly in the beautiful city of Landau in South/West Germany. The La.Meko Festival wants to be a stage for all kinds of short movies and the team takes care that the programme is a delicate mix of entertainment and cultural challenge across all genres. The festival is also known for its enthusiastic audience and its outstanding moderation. There are about six awards (250€-500€). Three of them – including the regional prize – are chosen by a jury and the rest by the votes of the audience.
