FilmAid Film Festival 8/4/18
FilmAid’s Film Festival is a unique opportunity for audiences to experience the compelling stories from refugee, and non-refugee filmmakers. It also presents an opportunity for filmmakers to screen their films for the communities living in Dadaab and Kakuma Refugee Camps, as well as in multiple locations in Nairobi. Short film festival celebrating refugee filmmakers, refugee stories, and opportunities for dialogue.
10th International Inter University Short Film 8/5/18
10th International Inter-University Short Film Festival- 2018 organized by Dhaka University Film Society is a festival to promote and inspire the work of University going filmmakers with the slogan “Take Your Camera, Frame Your Dream”. This edition of IIUSFF has been organized with the support and partnership from UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency.
Istanbul International Experimental Film Festival 8/5/18
The first showcase of avant-garde and experimental cinema in Turkey. It is led by a group of artists who aim to change the landscape of cinema in Istanbul through filmmaking and networking. We hope to create a platform that allows artists and filmmakers to produce and showcase works for aesthetic and philosophical purposes rather than for profit.
The Bloody Mary Film Festival 8/7/18
The Bloody Mary Film Festival seeks to showcase the work of Canadian female identifying filmmakers making genre films. We thereby are only accepting films: Directed by Canadian women, Predominately made within Canada
Animation Competition Silk Road International Film Festival 8/10/18
It is one of China’s most influential international film festivals. Films submitted to the Competition Section should meet the following requirements: Animation Films, No less than 70 minutes. Film released after January 1st, 2017. Format should be 35 mm or DCP (Digital Cinema Package). Global or international premiere works are preferred.
International Animation Festival Aiayu 9/16/18
The Animation Group AJAYU calls film-making and animation video producers to participate in the official contest from the Festival. The animated production must have been made since 2015 up to now. The categories to be evaluated will be: Short films of International animation, Short films of Peruvian animation, Short films of Latin American animation, Short films animated of Thesis or Graduation, Animated short films made by children (Ajayito), Animated feature films, Animated Series.

Animasivo is a platform devoted to experimental and independent animation, in Latin America. The contest continues to focus on presenting the ability of the animated image to subvert,reinvent and explore aesthetics, imaginaries and narrative styles.
