The square box is already preparing its 3rd edition: same concept, same period, same territories! We are looking for :  short films: 15 minutes max., no dialogue or text, but with a real cinematic language, a good sound processing, genres: animation, fiction, documentary, various themes, treated with poetry, fantasy, humor (even black), originality.

Sylhet Film Festival 1/5/18
Sylhet Film festival is an annual film festival, which will showcase full-length features, shorts, experimental films made by young independent filmmakers, including fiction animations and documentaries. One of the primary missions of the festival is to provide the youth with a platform to showcase their talent in media, provide an advantageous environment for the development of film and other creative works. The festival will promote the study and appreciation of the film by means of screenings, discussions, exhibitions, workshops and related activities. Note: submission form on website currently having difficulties- can submit through film freeway.

Autumn Shorts Film Festival 4/30/18 early deadline
Somerset Community College Theatre & Film welcomes submissions of films of no longer than fifteen minutes in length. Selected films will be showcased at the Festival and awards will be presented for outstanding achievements by the official selections. There are no cash awards. Submission of film does not guarantee entry.
