Rabbit Heart Poetry Film Festival is about bringing together poetry and the visual arts at the intersection of film.** Anyone can make a video of a poet reading a poem, but that’s not what Rabbit Heart is all about. What we’re looking for is what can be done visually with a poem, without showing performance.*** The poem can be the soundtrack, and the springboard for what happens visually – show, don’t tell is the rule.

Balkans Beyond Borders Short Film Festival 7/10/17
BBB announces the submission period of the 8th Balkans Beyond Borders Short Film Festival. We invite young artists up to the age of 35 from the Balkan region and beyond. We accept all film genres with duration up to 30 minutes.This year BBB brings Balkans films and the Balkan spirit in the heart of Europe, Brussels! It gives inspiration and challenges motivation through the title: ENTER / EXIT. We enter life with an exit. Either you enter or exit you get a new experience. Committed in its goal, BBB challenges contemporaneity by motivating young people to make use of their creativity in order to reflect on issues of concern in their region. Innsbruck Nature Film Festival ((Austria) 7/15/17
The INNSBRUCK NATURE FILM FESTIVAL is an international nature film competition, offering motivated filmmakers a platform for presenting their latest work. Four film festival days with film presentations and a high-quality side program are the framework for an on-topic, ecological, and artistic discourse.
Showcase for the independent feature and short films made by or about the Iranians from around the world. DVD submission. The films should be related to Iran by any filmmaker from any country, or made by any Iranian filmmaker on any subject. There is NO restriction in topics or length. The festival is open to all genres: fiction, documentary, short, animation, music video.
The KuanDu International Animation Festival (KDIAF) are calling for entries. The three titles include, Best International Short Film, Best International Student Short Film, and Best Taiwanese Short Film. In addition, our fellow judges would also like to select a few honorable mentions to certify and encourage those passionate artists and students of their effort.
Vancouver Jewish Film Festival 7/15/17
