We are looking for your short animations, films and experimental moving images to show at our new film club night in the cool underground bar of the Bicycle Shop, St. Benedict Street. Handpicked micro-movies will be chosen according to the theme of ‘spooky christmas’. We are accepting films of up to 25 minutes long. We can only accept 100% original material, including soundtracks. Indie Boots is currently accepting short film submissions for the fourth annual festival. Selected films will be screened this spring in Chicago at Indie Boots Film Festival, where an audience award will be presented, following a filmmaker Q&A. All genres welcome. 20 minutes max, shorter films encouraged. Especially seeking films featuring underrepresented characters (women, people of color, LGBTQ characters, etc) and short comedies.
