Visual Music Award (Germany) 3/7/14
A junior creative competition for works on music visualizations from the fields of new media art, experimental film or animation. We expect interpretations of music by visionary artistic visualisations. The holistic media compositions should come close to “paintings in time”, “visual music”, “symphonies of light and sound”, “cinematic paintings”, “color light music” or “space light art”. Slough Film Festival 3/8/14
The festival aims to promote filmmaking and the art of the short film by encouraging everyone to submit or attend. We are hoping to be showcasing some of the freshest and most creative local, national and international short films this year. The main categories are: Fiction, Documentary and Animation. There is also a Made in Slough section for films either made in Slough or by a Slough based filmmaker. Max. length Fiction short films: 15 minutes, Max. length for Documentaries: 20 minutes, Max. length for Animations: 15 minutes. DVD or link to download film.
FEST- New Directors / New Films Festival (Portugal) 3/9/14
We have now opened the entries for the Official Competitive section of the festival. The short film competition is aimed for directors up to 30 years of age (including). The feature film competition is only open to directors who are on their first or second feature film. Categories: Fiction, Documentary, Experimental, Animation. Submission by private link or DVD.
