GJFF has seen its fair share of thought-provoking and engaging films from many different countries of orgin. This film festival differs from others in the western region because of how accessible it has become for filmmakers to screen their work. Whether a student film or an intimate work created by a seasoned filmmaker, GJFF stands out amongst the others because of how it gathers submissions: no rules, no regulations and the winners for ‘Best Feature’ and ‘Best Short’ are decided 100% by audience choice.
