Athens Animfest 1/31/15
Special emphasis is given to European animation films, regardless of techniques, style and aesthetic trends thus demonstrating the common cultural heritage of the peoples of Europe. Attention has also been paid to supporting the professional creativity of young people, through special audiovisual programs, thus enriching the limited production of animation films in Greece.

Golden Kuker Sofia International Animation Film Festival 01/31/15
Festival is organised by the Bulgarian Association of Independent Cartoon Animation Artists – BAICAA. More than 450 films from 60 countries enter the competition every year, among which films nominated for an “Oscar” and films of artists awarded at international festivals category “A”.

Anifilm (Třeboň, Czech Republic) 2/8/15
International Festival of Animated Films. ANIFILM competition sections categories are: International Competition of Feature Films; a/ Films for Grown-Ups, b/ Films for Children; International Competition of Short Films; Czech-Slovak Student Competition. Register your film through online form. (The submission into the short film category is free. In the TV series category the submission fee makes 100 EUR per project.)

Fest Anca International animation Festival (Slovakia) 03/15/15
The International animation festival Fest Anča was first mentioned back in 2008 and since the start it has been located in what used to be an ancient settlement and currently is an industrial regional city called Žilina, lying on the North-West of Slovakia. Since the very beginning, the event is connected with the cultural centre Stanica Žilina-Záriečie and is being carried out during the extended weekend after the summer solstice. The festival, tagged as hot and cool at the same time doesn’t spread out red carpets, however the festival’s archives are full of interesting international guests. DVD by mail.

Neum International Animated Film Festival (Neum, Bosnia and Herzegovina) 4/15/15
NAFF is an independent festival that tries to propagande of animated film among the youth in Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as other countries. Its main goal is to positively influence the development of the film industry and culture through creative meetings and coorporation of young people. Films must be animated and their duration must be 15 minutes; Each author can submit up to 3 films; DVD submission.

Imaginaria (Italy) 5/31/15
International Animation Film Festival (IAFF). All categies of animation films are accepted, such as traditional animation, 2d digital, mix media and stop motion, 3d and visual effects, music videos and experimental. Running time for the short films must be no more then 20 minutes and no more then 90 minutes for feature film. Upload film on film sharing site, complete online form.
