All Hands and Hearts International Film Festival 9/3/19
All Hands and Hearts is a major volunteer-led humanitarian NGO, supporting and rebuilding communities following natural disasters. So far we’ve aided 1.1 million people across 108 programs worldwide. This year we’re hosting our first film festival to showcase the best of short cinema to our programs and local communities. Categories are Narrative, Documentary, Children’s and Animated – with a free-entry Special Category for films (of any duration) about humanitarian aid, natural disasters, disaster relief, resilience and recovery, and Climate Change. Canaltown Short Spooky Movie Festival (aka Spookyfest) 09/19/2019
A diverse selection of short, spooky, moving picture shorts (seven (7) minutes or less) presented live, in downtown Honesdale, Pennsylvania, USA. A popular, audience vote determines which shorts take home the custom crafted Spooky Awards (aka Spookies) at the end of the night. The popcorn is amazing, so you should not only submit but attend. Short of the Year 09/21/19
PROMOFEST opens the call for entries of SHORT OF THE YEAR – SUMMER. Every season 50 works will be selected. The winner of each season will be awarded with 250 submissions to film festivals (for free) and will directly become one of the films selected for The Short of the Year. The grand prize consists in 1000 submissions to festivals (for free).
